Job summary

Bon Secours seeks an MRI Technologist Assistant to support patient care in our Piedmont Orthopaedic department. You will greet patients, verify schedules, assist with positioning and transport between waiting areas and scanning rooms.

You will handle basic clerical tasks, maintain room readiness, and ensure safety screening and patient comfort. Applicants should have a high school diploma and BLS certification, with prior MRI exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required at hire for locations; preferred at hire, required before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, verify scripts and patient schedules.
• Greet and screen patients; assist with getting patients on/off scanning tables.
• Assist with patient positioning, safety checks and monitoring.
• Transport patients to/from department and prep exam rooms for next case.
