Job summary

Atrium Health in partnership with Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates (CNSA) seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures and support high-quality brain and spine imaging. You will operate MRI equipment, assess patients, and follow safety protocols to ensure accurate, safe examinations.

The role emphasizes adherence to departmental standards, collaboration with Radiology staff, and ongoing safety and quality improvements within a leading neurosurgery and spine care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment with proficiency.
• Verify orders with radiologist before exams.
• Prepare patients and document procedures in appropriate records.
• Administer IV contrast as directed and monitor patient safety.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety policies.
