Job summary

Atrium Health's Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates (CNSA) seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. You will help prepare patients, set up Equipment, and ensure safety and accuracy for every exam.

Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program, registry-eligible with registration within 1 year, CPR certified, and ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under Radiologist supervision.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identity prior to procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patients accurately.
• Maintains records in accordance with departmental standards.
