Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform scanning procedures in accordance with departmental protocols. You will operate MRI equipment, manage patient prep and monitoring, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

Qualifications include ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT, CPR certification, and the ability to work weekdays in a 7am–4:30pm schedule. This role offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program with MRI registry eligibility.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire; CPR certification required.
• Active ARRT MRI registration or ARMRIT pathway preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment per department protocols.
• Identify patients, obtain histories, and prepare for exams with clear explanations.
• Monitor patients, assist during procedures, and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and inject IV contrast as required by protocol, recording details.
• Maintain radiology records, document contrast use, and report equipment issues.
