Job summary

Hmixray in San Francisco, CA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, prioritize patient safety, and assist with contrast administration when needed.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state radiologic license if applicable, and BLS, plus at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand settings and adjustments on the MRI equipment to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam and answer questions about procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications as required.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
