Job summary

Hmixray seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will operate MRI equipment, adjust imaging parameters, and administer contrast when needed, communicating clearly with patients and physicians to support accurate imaging.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if required, BLS, and have at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience. Comprehensive benefits and family imaging services are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State Licensure in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust MRI parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, FOV).
• Guide patients through the procedure with clear explanations and address questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and law.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
