Hmixray in Pleasanton, CA is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast as needed. You will optimize imaging parameters and guide patients through the exam process in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if applicable, and BLS. Prior diagnostic imaging experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certification may be required by state regulations.
• At least 1 year diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Adhere to safety policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast safely as needed.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV and other parameters to produce high-quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications.
