Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering quality care across the 21st century. You will perform high quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast when needed, using advanced imaging parameters to produce superior images.

Guiding patients, responding to physician questions, and maintaining PHI and medication security are essential. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, and FOV to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the process and address questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
