Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced imaging environment. You will administer contrast when needed, adjust MRI parameters for optimal images, and guide patients with clear explanations.

A patient-centered approach and strong teamwork are essential. Requirements include ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT, state license if applicable, BLS, and at least one year of imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use MRI parameters to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through procedures and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
• Safeguard medications on site according to policy and law.
• Respect company property and patient information in person and portals.
• Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
