Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain is seeking an MRI Technologist for evening shifts. You will prepare patients, position them, set imaging parameters, acquire images, and ensure safety and quality.

Candidates should have ARRT or ARMRIT within a year of hire, 1–2 years MRI experience, and an Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging or a related certificate. Teamwork and patient care are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Medical Imaging certificate required or preferred.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials preferred; within one year of hire.
• 1–2 years of MRI technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per standards.
• Conduct MRI scans including image acquisition and processing.
• Perform IV insertions and contrast injections; monitor reactions.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and procedures.
• Perform routine quality control on MRI equipment.
• Assist with scheduling, patient transport, and related tasks.
