Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform and assist with MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper preparation. You will analyze imaging data for licensed physicians and participate in quality improvements.

The role requires MR certification and knowledge of MRI safety, with opportunities for advancement based on skills and experience. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB (including MR endorsement) required.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Specialty Training Program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and data management.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper preparation.
• Acquire, analyze, and verify diagnostic imaging data for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications in compliance with laws and policies.
• Ensure correct patient identification, obtain accurate clinical history, and adhere to confidentiality standards.
• Optimize imaging protocols, select pulse sequences, and evaluate image quality.
• Apply safety principles to minimize risks to patients, self, and staff.
• Assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures and educate healthcare providers and students.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
