Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a clinical setting. You will independently operate MRI equipment, prepare patients, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Role Overview:

The MRI Technologist I is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and research. They independently operate MRI equipment, prepare patients, and ensure safety protocols are followed, including medication administration and image quality evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.


• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.


• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer and storage.


• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with MRI-related procedures, and select appropriate pulse sequences.


• Apply magnetic resonance safety principles, participate in quality improvement activities, and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.

Qualifications & Skills:
