Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Erie, PA is seeking an MRI technologist to perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans with a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role requires ARRT MR (or equivalent) certification and a Specialty Training in Radiologic Technology, with responsibilities including contrast administration, data entry, and ongoing quality control within a clinical team.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR, ARMRIT or NMTCB credentialing or equivalent.
• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and image processing skills.
• Ability to perform quality control and communicate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, position, and explain MRI exams to patients while ensuring safety.
• Perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
• Administer IV contrast and manage venous access as directed.
• Enter data into radiology systems, process images, and identify anatomy on scans.
• Conduct equipment quality control, report malfunctions, and coordinate supply inventory.
• Provide radiological support to physicians and liaise within the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to perform quality control and communicate effectively within a team.
