Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an MRI Technologist for the part-time evening shift in Allentown, PA. Qualifications include a radiology diploma, ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials within 1 year, and BLS certification. AHA BLS is required upon hire; PA licensure requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with MRI training.
• Current state radiology tech (RT) credential; MR credential preferred.
• PA residency/certification within 1 year if not already held.
• Licensed or eligible for PA MRI-related credentials within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment, computer, and image management systems.
• Prepare/position patients and select parameters to obtain cross‑sectional images.
• Submit high-quality images to PACS and assist with patient screening and education.
• Maintain department cleanliness and assist with contrast injections under supervision.
