Job summary

Lehigh Valley Imaging LLC is hiring an MRI Technologist QC Supervisor for a full-time role, working 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, primarily at the Muhlenberg Hospital location.

The supervisor directs MRI staff to provide high-quality imaging in compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards, while coordinating with radiologists and referring physicians to protocol cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited Radiography program with MR certification.
• 3 years of MRI Technologist experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• Knowledge of MRI nursing practices and safety procedures.
• Strong safety and patient-care focus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the MRI staff workflow and schedules.
• Coordinate staff work schedules and approve time off.
• Ensure adequate coverage of magnets and duties.
• Protocol routine cases and collaborate with radiologists on unusual cases.
• Review studies for quality and accuracy; improve protocols after upgrades.
• Lead staff huddles and deliver annual performance evaluations.
• Oversee safety checks and patient, staff, and visitor protection.
