Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA approved program of medical imaging with at least 1 year of related imaging experience.
• Current New York State licensure or permit to practice as a Radiological Technologist.
• Certification with ARRT, NMTCB, or RDMS.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MRI examinations as directed.
• Reads charts, prescriptions and MRI requests to ascertain valid orders.
• Ensures correct patient identity prior to MRI procedures.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures quality MRI services.
• Lifts and moves patients with assistance.
• Films are processed and reviewed by Radiologist for quality.
