Per diem schedule and on-call requirements apply. This position requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, NYS licensure or permit with timely licensure, ARRT certification if licensed after 2007, and BLS

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
NY S licensure in Radiologic Technology required or must obtain licensure within six months of hire.
If licensed after 2007 must obtain ARRT within 1 year of hire.
Must obtain AHA BLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Performs Radiology, CT’s and/or mammography/bone density procedures utilizing anatomy and radiologic techniques.
Assists radiologist in Radiology interventional procedures and provides appropriate images.
Follows regulatory guidelines for patient/staff screening and radiologic safety.
Conducts patient education, order verification, and infection control per policies.
Participates in QA/QC procedures and maintains equipment documentation and safety.
