Job summary

North Shore Medical Center, Inc. in Salem, MA is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare patients, and ensure image quality. You will work as part of the MRI team across scanners, with emphasis on safety and accurate protocol use.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR/ARRT certification or eligibility within one year of hire.
• MRI tech experience with diverse patient populations preferred.
• Ability to operate complex imaging equipment and perform QC.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for ambulatory/outpatient patients with proper protocol selection.
• Prepare patients, position them, and process images for interpretation.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct quality control checks and document procedures in EMR.
• Assist with scheduling, transport, and departmental tasks as needed.
