Job summary

Atrium Health's High Point Medical Center in High Point, NC seeks an MRI Technologist PRN to perform MRI exams and support radiology services. You will prepare patients, verify orders, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders with Radiologist before performing exams.
• Identify patients, prepare for procedures, and document on worksheets.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMRs for pertinent history.
• Perform MRI scanning and assist during invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintain safety standards, operate imaging equipment, and report malfunctions.
