Qualifications

• MR registry/certification eligibility within 18 months.
• Two years MR technologist experience (Level II).
• Four years MR experience for Level III.
• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedures.
• Assist radiologists with protocoling and performance.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate MR scans for technical quality; label and sequence exposures.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow across MR sites.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist education of staff.
• Teach protocols to new technologists, physicians, and researchers.
