Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment. You will administer contrast when needed and optimize imaging parameters to produce excellent images.

The role involves guiding patients through the exam process and addressing any questions from patients and physicians. Applicants should hold ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if applicable, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and optimize MRI hardware parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV) for quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions.
