Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety. The role includes administering contrast when needed and optimizing imaging parameters to deliver accurate results.

You will guide patients through the exam, answer questions, and collaborate with physicians and staff while safeguarding patient data and maintaining professional conduct in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions and FOV for quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patients.
