Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist in Olney, MD to perform high-quality MRI studies while maintaining patient safety and comfort. You will adjust imaging parameters and administer contrast while guiding patients through procedures.

A strong emphasis on professional communication and teamwork is essential. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, state licensing where applicable, and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Ensure patient safety by following policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and FOV for quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam and address questions.
