Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in California. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and manage contrast administration while optimizing image quality.

You will interact with patients and physicians to deliver excellent care in a busy setting. Responsibilities include interpreting technical parameters, guiding patients, safeguarding patient information, and maintaining professional conduct with staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness and acquisitions to optimize images.
• Guide patients through the exam process with clear explanations.
• Respond to physician questions and provide patient-related information.
• Safeguard patient health information and site property.
