Job summary

RadNet in the United States is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated team that delivers quality, value, and access in imaging services. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety by following policies, and administer contrast when needed.

You will guide patients through procedures, respond to physician questions, protect patient information, and work professionally with colleagues.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (where applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certification may be required by state regulations.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust imaging parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness) to optimize image quality.
• Guide patients through procedures, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and property.
• Safeguard medications on site per policies and regulations.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Education

ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
