Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the radiology team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensure patient comfort, and adhere to standards under the Radiologist's supervision.

The role involves imaging patients across the lifespan and maintaining quality control per ACR guidelines. Education includes AMA approved Radiologic Technology or JRCERT accreditation; ARDMS/ARRT registration and BLS are required, with no experience needed

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI technologist preferred.
• Licensure: ARDMS or ARRT radiographer; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in MRI procedures on patients of all ages.
• Positions patient, selects protocol, and uses required equipment.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner components and follows imaging protocols.
• Performs quality control procedures per ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient education and communication.
• Positioning and protocol selection for radiological exams across age groups.
