Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures under the direct supervision of a Radiologist, serving patients from neonatal to geriatric ages. Qualifications include graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, ARDMS or ARRT registration, and BCLS.

No experience required, with 6 months as MRI Tech preferred; this is an on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered; BCLS upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all MRI procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competencies in all non-scanner related components.
• Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with the ACR guidelines.
• Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
• Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
