Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform diagnostic MRI examinations, ensure patient comfort, and adhere to imaging protocols under the supervision of a Radiologist.

The role requires AMA/JRCERT accredited training, ARDMS/ARRT certification upon hire, and BLS. We value patient care, accurate imaging, and collaboration across age groups from neonates to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• None required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required upon hire.
• BLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing MRI procedures on patients of all ages.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required imaging equipment.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner related components.
• Follows established imaging protocols and performs quality control per ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient education and care.
