Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures across patient age groups, under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will ensure protocol selection, patient positioning, and adherence to imaging standards.

Ideal candidates have AMA or JRCERT training with ARDMS/ARRT radiography credentials and BLS. No prior experience is required, though 6 months MRI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT in Radiography required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in performing all MRI procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient and selects the correct protocol and utilizes imaging equipment.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner components and adheres to imaging protocols.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient education and care.
