Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations for patients across all ages, under supervision of a Radiologist. You will operate MRI equipment, ensure safety, and adhere to imaging protocols to support accurate diagnoses.

The role requires AMA approved Radiologic Technology education, ARDMS or ARRT certification, BLS, and a commitment to patient care. This is a full-time on-site position in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Min education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• 0+ years of experience; 6 months MRI preferred.
• Licensure/certification: ARDMS or ARRT, BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all MRI procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competencies in all non-scanner related components.
• Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for the exam being performed.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with the ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-specific care and patient education according to prescribed standards.
• Positioning and protocol selection for radiologic exams across all ages when requested.
