Qualifications

• Graduate from AMA-approved Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and coordinate with Radiologist.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prep and document on worksheets.
• Review EMR to obtain clinical history and record medical history.
• Perform MRI scans and assist during procedures under supervision.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper equipment operation.
• Assist anesthesia when needed and participate in code blue procedures.
