Job summary

Atrium Health Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform high-quality MRI procedures, verify orders with Radiologists, and ensure patient safety. You will operate scanners, manage contrast administration, and document findings in the EMR while maintaining strict radiation safety standards.

The role requires ARRT recognition or eligibility, CPR certification, and the ability to work closely with physicians and the radiology team to deliver optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligibility must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with MRI procedures and IV contrast administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols.
• Verify orders with Radiologist before performing exams.
• Prepare patients and document medical history for MRI procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and monitor patient conditions during scans.
