Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality MRI imaging and patient care in a dynamic radiology department. The role involves ensuring accurate examinations, patient safety, and compliance with protocols.

You'll operate PACS, perform venipuncture for contrast, and support physicians in various studies. The ideal candidate has ARRT MRI or ARMRIT within one year, on-call availability (60-minute response), and preference for Siemens MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program or MRI program.
• Must obtain ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT certification within one year of hire.
• AHA BLS healthcare provider credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical MRI services according to practice standards.
• Maintain accurate data, assist radiologists with exams, and ensure specimen accuracy.
• Send images to PACS correctly and follow QC processes.
• Demonstrates venipuncture for contrast administration.
• Understand MRI principles, anatomy, positioning, and image optimization.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to department protocols for high-strength MRI.
• Assist physicians in various studies and perform ancillary tasks as needed.
• Deliver excellent patient care and maintain strong customer service.
