Capital Health is seeking an MRI Technologist (Part Time) in Hopewell, NJ. The role focuses on delivering high-quality MRI imaging, supporting radiology staff, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have an accredited radiology or MRI program background and will obtain ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification within one year. AHA BLS certification is required, with Siemens MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program or MRI program.
• Must obtain ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT within one year of hire.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider.
• Verifiable hours working on MRI machines, Siemens preferred.
• Venipuncture training within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical radiology services per standards and supports radiography students and technologists.
• Sends images to PACS and ensures image QC and accuracy.
• Identifies patients and files to prevent mislabeling and ensures proper data entry for radiologists.
• Demonstrates venipuncture technique for IV contrast administration.
• Maintains patient safety and follows department protocols for high-strength magnetic fields.
• Assists physicians in studies and ensures efficient department operations.
