Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a qualified MRI technologist to provide clinical radiology services and support the radiology team. The role requires operating MRI equipment, ensuring image quality, and accurate patient data entry amidst a high-tech environment.

On-call, holiday, and weekend coverage may be required. ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification within 1 year, BLS-Healthcare, and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program or MRI program.
• Must obtain ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT within one year of hire.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider.
• Basic computer skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Verifiable hours working on MRI machines, Siemens preferred.
• Venipuncture training within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to handle high pressure atmosphere performing sophisticated exams on state of the art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical radiology services according to practice standards.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure image quality and safety.
• Identify patients and files to maintain accuracy and prevent mislabeling.
• Assist radiologists by documenting findings and patient data.
• Participate in on-call, holiday, and weekend coverage when required.
