Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist in Garden Grove to perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast when needed. You will work closely with physicians to address questions and deliver accurate imaging results in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required where applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
