Job summary

RadNet in Laguna Hills, CA seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast as needed. You will adjust imaging parameters and guide patients through the exam, answering questions and coordinating with physicians.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if applicable, and BLS. Minimum one year of imaging experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• BLS certification
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust imaging parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, FOV) to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and law.
• Respect company property and patient financial information on-site or portales.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
