Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 7 on-7 off graveyard schedule at McKay-Dee Hospital. Qualified applicants may receive a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 plus relocation assistance where applicable.

Responsibilities include maintaining ARRT (MR) competency, performing exams, reviewing images for quality, and upholding MRI safety. Staff will train others and assist in protocol adherence and billing processes.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT with MR cross-training.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• BLS for healthcare providers required or equivalent.
• Demonstrated MRI safety and image quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT MR or modality competency in clinical functions.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time frames without compromising care.
• Instruct students and staff in exam protocols and positioning.
• Follow infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Follow medical necessity, coding, consents, QC, and report failures.
• Support emergency responses and MRI safety procedures.
