Job summary

OSS Health seeks an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic examinations and assist in related functions. You will prepare patients for radiologic procedures, follow MRI safety guidelines, and ensure patient and staff protection while delivering high-quality imaging.

Position is eligible for a sign-on bonus. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with shifts from 6:00am to 7:00pm, in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values excellence and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current MRI certification from ARRT is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and plan and organize work.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Venipuncture certification preferred.
• Previous experience preferred, with at least two years strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take thorough and accurate patient histories or reviews.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines and protect patients and staff.
• Correlate patient ID and history with examination.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Safeguard and maintain MRI equipment including coils.
• Explain procedures and observe patients for safety and comfort.
• Enter commands and data to document scan sequences.
• Record and maintain patient data and treatment records.
• Assist with patient lifting and positioning.
• Report unusual occurrences to supervisor.
• Pursue continuing education and development.
• Maintain cooperative attitude with patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
