Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification; cross-trained in MR imaging.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency in 3 MR areas listed (e.g., intra-operative, cardiac, breast, etc.).
• Must complete at least five cases per specialty with lead MRI sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Verify patient identity and prepare exam per protocol; ensure comfort and safety.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Instruct students and MRI staff on exam protocols and positioning.
• Keep accurate records and assist with equipment maintenance and QC.
