Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, AL is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specialized in MRI to join our radiology team. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain high imaging quality under radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include adherence to safety standards, patient positioning, IV access, contrast administration, and assisting with MRI procedures. ARRT certification and relevant experience required; advanced registry preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, successful completion of an approved course in Radiologic Technology, 1 year experience conducting routine diagnostic procedures, and completion of an approved program in advanced modality or one year of experience in advance modality.
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology may substitute for up to one year of experience.
• ARRT Registry in Diagnostic Radiology within 1 year required.
• Advanced registry is highly preferred and may be required for certain modalities.

Responsibilities

• Abides by compliance requirements and policies and performs responsibilities ethically.
• Maintains aseptic technique and patient safety during procedures.
• Operates MRI equipment including 3T/1.5T systems and related coils.
• Performs patient positioning, IV access, and contrast administration per protocol.
• Assists radiologists during MRI procedures and documents imaging.
• Reviews prior imaging and coordinates with clinicians for appropriate exams.
