Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registry in Diagnostic Radiology within 1 year required.
• Advanced registry preferred for certain modalities.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations per physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Review patient history and screen for MRI contraindications.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout the exam.
• Position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/PACS systems.
• Comply with HIPAA and hospital safety policies.
• Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
