Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, AL seeks a dedicated Radiologic Technologist specialized in MRI to join our imaging team. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, position patients, and maintain equipment and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.

The role requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, eligible to administer IV contrast, and adherence to MRI safety standards. Regular schedule with potential overtime and training support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for some experience in diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Abides by compliance requirements, policies and confidentiality and performs duties ethically.
• Maintains competency with all imaging equipment and supplies, including MRI 3T/1.5T, coils, power injector and monitoring.
• Demonstrates proper patient positioning and labels images correctly.
• Adheres to MRI safety and screening policies for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Performs patient assessment and screening and coordinates with radiologists as needed.
• Directly assists Radiologist during MRI image-guided procedures and administers IV contrast per protocol.
