Job summary

The ideal candidate has AMA-approved radiology training, BLS, and ARRT MRI certification with readiness to complete licensure timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technology or MRI Program.
• BLS certified; ARRT registry requirements with MRI certification within defined timelines.
• Ability to operate MRI equipment safely and in accordance with department protocols.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents patient information for MRI procedures.
• Performs MRI exams with strict adherence to clinical protocols.
• Documents contrast use and patient allergies in EPIC; ensures accurate patient data.
• Marks, QC’s, and evaluates MRI studies for diagnostic quality; follows magnet safety rules.
• Maintains clean, safe environment and collaborates with team across shifts and sites.
