Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI imaging procedures across various body parts. You will prepare patients, select pulse sequences, monitor exams, and ensure high-quality images are delivered to radiologists.

The role requires ARRT (or ARMRIT/CAMRT) MR registration, an associate degree in radiologic technology or allied health, and 0–1 year of experience. BLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire. Rotating shifts include weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiological technology or allied health; JRCERT accreditation preferred.
• ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT MR registration required (start date).
• 60 days to provide BLS certification after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams.
• Select pulse sequences and monitor exam progress.
• Ensure complete imaging and accurate PACS transmission.
• Maintain patient comfort and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Document procedures and charges accurately in hospital system.
• Participate in teaching and continued education.
