Job summary

Akumin in Raleigh, NC is hiring a full-time MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. You will produce high-quality MR studies, ensure patient safety, and coordinate with radiologists and staff for smooth exams.

Required ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration, state license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma is acceptable; associate degree or registry is preferred. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State License.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications and aseptic technique.
• Produces high quality diagnostic MR images.
• Orders supplies and assists in preparing for transport daily.
• Communicates effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.

This will be a full time position.Regional resource responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality MR studies. Insures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary.
