Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for our Statesville and Mooresville, NC facilities in a full-time role. The candidate will be responsible for patient safety, producing high-quality MR images, and supporting daily operations while collaborating with radiologists and staff.

Preferred candidates hold ARRT MR registry and state licensure with CPR certification. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and training new team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Registration in ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS is required.
• State license required to practice.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist or Magnetic Resonance Technologist if applicable.
• CPR certification and active state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screen for contraindications.
• Produce high quality diagnostic MR images.
• Order supplies, clean unit, assist in transport preparations daily.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.

We are currently hiring for an MRI Technologist at our Statesville & Mooresville, NC facilities. This will be a full time position.

Regional resource responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality MR studies. Insures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary. In some instances, trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologist and/or PC's

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
• Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS
• State License

Licensed Radiologic Technologist or Magnetic Resonance Technologist, if applicable.

• Technologists performing mid-day moves
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.
