Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for our Statesville & Mooresville, NC facilities. This full-time role focuses on patient safety and delivering high-quality MR studies while coordinating with radiologists and supporting staff.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registered, hold a state license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred: an Associate’s degree and MR registry with ARRT. Join a team committed to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience preferred
• Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening for contra-indications and aseptics.
• Produce high quality diagnostic MR images.
• Order supplies, clean unit, assist in transport preparation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and Patient Coordinators.

We are currently hiring for an MRI Technologist at our Statesville & Mooresville, NC facilities. This will be a full time position.

Regional resource responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality MR studies. Insures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary. In some instances, trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologist and/or PC's

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
• Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS
• State License

Licensed Radiologic Technologist or Magnetic Resonance Technologist, if applicable.

• Technologists performing mid-day moves
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.
