Novant Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist for Outpatient Imaging to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and ensure patient safety.

The role requires ARRT MR certification, an associate degree, MRI experience, and strong communication. You will work with physicians and radiology staff to deliver timely scans in a patient-centered environment.

• 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.

Facility: NHI Museum (Outpatient Imaging) | Location: Charlotte, NC | Full-Time (3x12 Weekends)

What You'll Do

The MR Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required. Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required. Applicable state license,required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
