Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, seeks a motivated MRI Technologist for our Southlake, TX outpatient center. You will perform high-quality MRI procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus, premium base pay, monthly bonus opportunities, and no on-call requirements, plus career growth through the Technologist Advancement Academy (TAA).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• ARRT certification with MR registry or ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable).
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
